You could try Origin with just Wine though but Wine by itself requires quite a bit of knowledge and the same possible problems will still exist. When it pauses it seems to show a false number, I was like 15 and it paused and showed i had downloaded 58 of Bf3, Which was wrong.
Steam and Proton does that but Lutris doesn't as far as I can see. So once Wine takes over, the Lutris logs don't take that in, which is something that would be really nice if there was a setting that did do that. The debug logs apparently don't go further than Lutris.
The Origin installer is also still a bit flaky with Wine as I have updates that fail but then only install on the next start of Origin. There should be no prompt for that from what I remember. Fully uninstalling and reinstalling should allow for everything to reset appropriately, but yet this software does no such thing, it seems. Instead of a native application, it's a native wrapper around a website. I wish Origin would run better, faster, cleaner - it simply doesn't. I know what goes into creating applications like this.
